Unlike the 3-litre GT produced in 1995 to homologate a series of engine and aerodynamic components for racing, the batch of 50 Evolution GT Individual's were little more than dressed up special editions to mark the end of production. All 50 were mechanically standard right-hand drive cars built to an identical specification for the UK-market. Each one was painted Imola Red and kitted out in a rather loud two-tone interior comprising Anthracite bolsters with matching Imola Red seat centres and door inserts. |
| Other noteworthy cabin appointments included a sports steering wheel, red stitching for the handbrake lever and steering wheel, side and passenger airbags and a Harmon Kardon sound system. The sunroof, seats and rear windows were all electrically operated. Last but not least, an adjustable front splitter and twin-level rear wing were installed. All 50 cars were made right at the end of M3 production in late 1998, most not being registered in the UK until 1999. |
