Believed to have been completed in December 1972 and shipped to the UK over Christmas for MTC Cars (the UK De Tomaso concessionaire).
Sold new through MTC Cars to Norman Barrs.
First registered 6th October 1973.
Possibly used by MTC as a demonstrator considering the lengthy period between the build date and first registration. 
Reputed to have been one of the show cars at the 1973 Earl's Court Motor Show - this is unconfirmed and the owner would be grateful for more information.
Second owner was Graham Barrs (Norman Barrs son).
