An interesting footnote in 365 GT history were the two or three special cars re-constructed by Carrozzeria Auto Sport of Modena at the behest of Luigi Chinetti Junior in 1988. Known as the 365 GT 2+2 Chinetti Jr. NART Spyder's, information on these rare cars is presently a little sketchy. All carried bodies that, from the front, resembled Pininfarina's Series II and III 512 BB LM's. We are currently researching these interesting cars and hope to publish a more extensive guide with chassis numbers and histories before too long. |
