www.QV500.com - Lamborghini 350 Part 4: 350 GT Zagato "3500 GTZ"

The only Lamborghini 350 not to have been bodied by Touring of Milan was executed by the famed coachbuilder Zagato. Also hailing from Milan, the Zagato-works were at the height of their creative genius in 1965 when they fabricated this rakish berlinetta-style body. It was fitted it to a special 350 GT chassis (0310) with a wheelbase shortened by 100mm.

Referred to as the 3500 GTZ, chassis 0310 made its salon debut at 1965's London Motor Show and later went on to star in Paris a few weeks later.

With its beautiful bodywork and bespoke interior, the solitary 350 GT by Zagato has to rank as one of the most interesting creations from the early days of Lamborghini.
