Having already completed the wonderful 3500 GTZ on chassis 0310, Zagato of Milan went on to produce a second fundamentally unaltered berlinetta on chassis 0322. However, this time they made use of Lamborghinis more powerful 4-litre engine that was progressively being introduced. One of just 23 interim models to receive this 320bhp engine then, 0322 was completed in October 1965 and went on to star alongside 350 GTS chassis 0325 at the Turin Salon later that month. Finished in Grigio with Nero leather to the interior (0310 had been painted Bianco), 0322 further differed from the 3500 GTZ with it's front grille treatment, the supplementary engine cooling vents located behind each front wheelarch and the presence of twin windscreen wiper blades. Once thought never to exist, 0322 was actually used by none other than Paolo Stanzani throughout much of 1966, later being sold to Hong Kong where it is believed to have been crashed by its Chinese owner.
