www.QV500.com - Lamborghini Urraco Part 5: P300 Bertone Bravo |
![]() |
One of the most influential Lamborghini show cars was the Studio 114 Bravo. Designed by Bertone and premiered at 1974's Turin Salon, it was built on the underpinnings of a P300 Urraco (this itself having been revealed at the very same show). The Bravo was a fully functioning machine that featured many innovative design cues, several details being adopted later in the decade for Lamborghini's Silhouette and Countach. |
| The lines were extremely fluid, Bertone concealing mundane restrictions such as window pillars while a complete absence of traditional bumpers hinted towards the future for manufacturers. Interestingly, the Bravo gave a world debut to Pirelli's revolutionary P7 tyres and the very attractive telephone dial wheels that would be used on the Silhouette. |
