For many years we have used Sony mini DV Handycam's as our principle recording device solution. They have, and continue to be, an excellent recorder producing high quality results. Disappointingly Sony are manufacturing fewer and fewer models with the required A/V and Lanc inputs, so the days of using a Handycam are now numbered. Plus, there is also a natural progression away from “the old technology” to the new digital card recording formats. We normally have a few brand new and sometimes a few almost new Sony's in stock, give us a call to check availability and price. The up side of the Sony Handycam is It's compact and it works, giving excellent 720 x 576 quality results on a digital tape Please note all prices are plus VAT |
