Our Racecam kits have been developed over many years racing and include a number or components which are manufactured in house, these include our power supply/interface boxes with our simple "plug and play" connection system and our range of professional Racecam mounts. Do not be mistaken these are not available anywhere else.

Racecam mounts
 
The quality of the camera mount you use is very important as it effects the quality of the footage recorded. The mount must also be suitable for the type of fixing surface you have available, which is why we offer both a roll bar mount and a flat surface mount. Both our Racecam mounts are crafted using the latest CNC technology from anodised aluminium and nylon 66, each mount takes over an hour to machine by a skilled operator. For saftey reasons we use steel cap head fixings and steel inserts to ensure a secure fixing every time
 
Roll Bar Mount
 

3x 360 degree planes

This is the ultimate multi plane mount. We hold the majority of FIA roll bar diameter mounts in stock from 25mm- 50mm. If your required size is not available we will make it specifically for you

 
Flat surface mount
 

2x 360 degree rotational planes and 1x 90 degree plane

This mount is designed to be used when a roll bar is not available. It can fixed to either a dashboard, door pillar, any available flat surface inside the car or on a body panel outside the car. The mount is securely fixed using industrial strength Velcro which is very, very strong. (we have used it at speeds in excess of 160mph, no problem). The base of the mount also has 2 drilled holes if you wish to fix it with a secondary retainer i.e. bolt or tie-rap. This will ensure that extra peace of mind and keep the scrutineer happy.
 
Extension Bars
 
Dependent on the position of your roll bar and the car you race you may require one of our 50mm extension bars to help you overcome a visibility problem whereby the drivers helmet takes up to much of the frame or you just need to avoid the edge of a windscreen or the rear of a seat. On the other hand it could just be the case that you have a rather large head / helmet!

To help overcome this problem we offer two types of extension bar which simply connect between our roll bar clamp or flat panel mount and our bullet camera holder.

 
Standard shaft extension, machined from anodised aluminium using CNC technology, comes complete with a stainless steel locking pin. £39.95 
Aerodynamic extension, designed for those who want the best. This stylish aerodynamic shaped extension is beautifully crafted using CNC technology from anodised aluminium, comes complete with stainless steel locking pin. £59.95 
If you want a longer extension bar than 50mm we will make you one to order, the individual price will be confirmed at the time of order.
 
 

Road, track day car installation option

As an alternative to racing you may wish to use your Racecam kit in your road car, track day car or 4x4.

You may intend to tour the beautiful Italian lakes in your Ferrari GTS Dino, go off road in the Sahara in your Land-cruiser or simply push your performance car to the limits on an organised track day, if so then our road car installation option will be just the fitting solution you require.

The road car installation option contains everything you need to simply install, in seconds, your Racecam kit into any vehicle with an available cigarette lighter or 12v power socket.

Flat panel mounts with suction cups

Fits to your windscreen or side window using 2x 45mm high quality, patented suction cups which are exclusively imported from the USA, alternatively you can secure this mount to a dashboard or suitable anchor point using either industrial strength Velcro/dual lock or permanently fix using two nut and bolts.

Power interface box with cigarette lighter fitting

Power interface box with a fused 12v cigarette lighter plug. This unit provides power to the bullet camera, includes a pre amp microphone, voltage regulator, suppression circuit and our simple “colour coded plug and play” connection system

Cost - Special Offer -

As a special promotion until the 31 December 2005 , there is no extra charge for the alternative road car installation option. Racecam kit prices remain either an affordable £495 for the single camera kit or £895 for either of our two camera kits.

Simple to install in seconds our kit can be fitted to any vehicle which has a standard 12v cigarette lighter available.
 

We believe our mounts, clamps and extension bars are the best available, they are designed by racers for racers!

Rally drivers and aviators

If you would like us to build you Racecam kit with the functionality to connect to your intercom system then please advise at the time of ordering. Our intercom specification power interface box includes an appropriate 3.5mm socket so you can connect to the "audio out" of the intercom and a pre amplifier to boast the strength of the audio signal to be recorded. The cost of this upgrade if required is £24.95.
